Phil: My favourite book is usually the one I've just finished reading or I'm reading with enthusiasm. So, at the moment, it is 'A Time of Gifts' by Patrick Leigh Fermor. The one I end up recommending at the moment is Matt Haig's 'How to Stop Time'. Always messing about theatrically.
Justin: I really hate it when prople ask me what my favourite is; I'm so indecisive. I can never pick just one thing. But with books it's easy: the dictionary. Every time I open its pages I learn something new, which is why it's my favourite book.
John: Once Head of IT for a London charity. Now retired and busily learning sailing and Italian, volunteering for the NT and doing cultural things. Likes reading history, travel, nature, art, literature and a good yarn. Married to Kathleen with four assorted daughters. Lives and cooks happily in the People's Republic of Southborough.
